What Brisa Desk does
Brisa Desk organizes items in folders that you select using macOS file panels. It can preview planned moves, archive items, restore the latest archive, and synchronize a selected pair of folders in both directions. It only requests access to the folders you select, using macOS App Sandbox permissions.
Information kept on your Mac
To carry out and recover file operations, Brisa Desk processes and stores operation metadata locally in its app container. This can include file paths, operation details, file-content hashes used to detect changes, synchronization baselines, and security-scoped bookmarks that let the app request access to folders you previously selected. These records are local to the app container. Recoverable prior file versions are stored in a .BrisaDesk Versions folder inside the selected folders and may be uploaded by a provider if those folders are cloud-managed.
Collection and transmission
Brisa Desk has no network entitlement and includes no telemetry or analytics, account system, advertising, or payments. The app does not transmit the local operation records to its developer.
Cloud folders and other providers
You may select folders managed by iCloud or another file provider. macOS and that provider may sync files or related information under their own settings and services. That activity is controlled independently by the operating system or provider, not by Brisa Desk’s network access.
